Youth Ministry

Our Youth program has been consistent since our beginning. We currently meet on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of each month at 11:00 am. Our time together is spent in Prayer, Praise and Worship, Study of God's Word, and the Arts; dance, rap, choir ... Lunch is always included at the Church, but sometimes we will even venture out to a local pizza spot.

Part of this experience is to teach and train our youth that giving is a part of God's plan. This past summer we volunteered at Daily Bread Ministries. Afterward the youth helped in the distribution of the food for the Helping Hands Outreach.

On the 5th Sunday's the youth are in charge of the Worship Service. Under the leadership of Sis. Stephanie Hale, the youth take us from the invocation to the benediction. We are always excited about their participation.

We have a planned summer program called Youth Jam - Praise Fest. This event is focused on Youth Expressions in Worship, Training, and fellowship. Other Churches that have participated with us are Rolling Oaks Christian Church and Porter Memorial C.M.E. Church.
